Introducing my gallery wall! I rediscovered my interest in art and painting during quarantine, and with an influx of time and boredom, I began building this gallery wall in my childhood bedroom in May 2020. Most of the works are mine and have little descriptions underneath. The wall remind me daily of the ounces of creativity I have nestled somewhere back in my mind. As the daughter of two Chinese immigrants in STEM fields, the arts are not considered a viable career path in our household. Although my brother and I love to paint and create, we use art as a way to balance our lives with careers in finance and law. This is my Zoom background: for school, job interviews, and internships. It serves as a visual reminder for me and those around me of my ties to art!
